Ok, I get it, you want to share what you post, but it really irks me when I see the same posts on every forum I visit.

Excuse me while I go post this topic on that other forum . . . .

You mean in the greetings section @Spice, like our daily events? lol
Posted by: Mozzie Jul 11 2018, 11:53 PM
Yup i see it all the times, ill post to it on one or two boards, but then that is it

| It happens everywhere.
I sometimes will paste in for that day in the general daily chat as I have so many forums that I visit it would be too time consuming. Time is probably the key for a lot of people who work most days.
If I couldn't do that then I'd have to quit some of the forums I do visit.

I agree Pinky. Some of us visit 20 some boards and TIME is everything.

No not the greetings necessarily but that is irksome at times too. Someone will post a news topic, then they will visit your forum and post the exact same topic. What is the point?

Maybe they feel that not everyone will see those same articles on those forums, since we don't all visit the same forums?

I try to avoid it myself. I'll post the same topic on maybe two or three forums and that's it (and, unless it's a news article, I'll usually leave a space of at least a week between boards).

Redundancy is typical to see on any message board. You want to discuss topics of similar interests, but there's only so many 'general' topics that will reach a wide-variety of people. I'll be honest, when posting topics on my board I'll go on other boards/Reddit and see what topics have the most replies/views/upvotes and bring those topics to my board to try and bring in some posting activity. I imagine a lot of staff members do this. When you have the general community, entertainment, technology chat, etc. setup you're deemed to see repetitiveness.
