When you're reading and someone looks over your shoulder to see what you're reading.....does it bother you when someone stops to ask you about the book you're reading or do you welcome the chance to discuss whatever it is you're reading?

A little bit, although it never really happens to me. I rarely read books these days, and even when I do, I'm usually on my own in my room :P .

When i read, it is at home and late at night as i can'\t handle distractions. SO yes in a way it would, if i was in public reading a book i may invite them to know what it is as a lot i read is research books on other things, but saying that i use my pc anyway so it is rare i am any where but at home when reading ..

It doesn't bother me when someone asks me what I am reading as I hope by telling them it might encourage them to read it as well.

Now I'm retired I only read at home usually when I'm on my own or hubby is there,he's not interested so it doesn't happen to me,but I suppose I would be annoyed if it happened to me.

I find it very rude to look over someones shoulder when they're reading.

A bit of both really. When I read I like to concentrate on the book but if I'm not reading and somebody asked me the question then I will answer them and tell them what the book is about.
